Design and build 3D perception systems that enable robots to understand and interact with complex physical environments.

What you'll do

  • Develop real-time 3D perception pipelines using depth sensors and cameras
  • Build robust object detection, segmentation, and pose estimation systems
  • Create spatial understanding models for dynamic environments
  • Optimize perception systems for deployment on edge hardware
  • Collaborate with ML and controls teams to integrate perception into the full robot stack

What we're looking for

  • Strong background in computer vision, 3D geometry, or related fields
  • Experience with depth sensors (LiDAR, stereo, structured light)
  • Proficiency in C++ and Python
  • Experience with real-time perception systems
  • MS or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field preferred
